Cleaning for a Reason

Cleaning for a Reason

Merry Maids of Calgary South West takes pride in cleaning your home just the way you like it. Helping our customers get what they want is very important to us. In the spirit of helping, we are once again a part of the Cleaning For A Reason program. Cleaning For A Reason was created to help those who are fighting cancer and stretches across North America. This organization partners with maid services, offering cleaning to those who are undergoing cancer treatment. To date, this program has supplied 17,000 cleanings (a value of 4 million dollars) and worked with more than 1000 maid services.

Boys and Girls Club of Calgary

After years of cleaning homes, Merry Maids of Calgary South West understands the value of families. They are what make a house into a home. This is why Merry Maids of Calgary South West proudly supports Avenue 15. Avenue 15 is an amazing organization created to help homeless and runaway youth who may not have a place to call home. Through this, Avenue 15 is able to provide youth with a comprehensive support system, giving them a chance to stay off the street toward a better life. Avenue 15 even assists in locating the family or arranging alternative living arrangements for youth who need it. In the past, some of our customers have left clothing for us to pick up at their home as a way of donating to Avenue 15. If you find yourself doing some spring cleaning a bit early this year and want to donate some clothing, please contact us.

Stampede Breakfast & Fundraiser

Boys and Gorls Club of Calgary

Every July, Merry Maids of Calgary SW participates in Business Network International Alberta’s Annual Stampede Breakfast & Fundraiser. This year wasn’t our first time at the rodeo! Franchise owner Mary and other Business Network International team members participate in this great event annually, flipping pancakes and having fun! This year’s event was a great success and raised $12,000 for Wounded Warriors Canada; the nation’s leading, wholly independent, Veteran’s charity.
